Chaos has released V-Ray Advanced 6.00.03 for Cinema 4D, which extends artistic control over everything from particles to skies. Users can now Access production-ready features such as V-Ray Enmesh, a new procedural CLOud system, and V-Ray Decal. The V-Ray Decal allows for easy Projection onto any surface, including 3D stickers, labels, cracks, stAIns, and scratches, offering artists greater creative freedom without additional UVW mapping or disrupting the underlying material. Displacement settings can also be employed for added realism. VRayEnmesh is a new system that efficiently tiles geometry onto object surfaces, enabling artists to treat geometry as textures for creating patterns like panels, fences, and fabrics, particularly for close-up shots. Enmesh is very memory-efficient, allowing users to add billions of polygons to a scene without compromise. The V-Ray Sun and Sky system now includes procedural clouds, eliminating the need for static HDRs or cloudless skies. Artists can now customize their scenes to take full advantage of ray-traced lighting, ground shadows, and volume effects during animation production.
